John Horton, CHFM, recently shared a career update on his LinkedIn profile.
“Leaving WakeMed is bittersweet. After many rewarding years working with an exceptional team, I’ve accepted a new opportunity with ECU Health. I’m grateful for the friendships, mentorship, and experiences that have made my time at WakeMed so meaningful. As I begin this next chapter, I’m excited to continue serving patients, team members, and communities across North Carolina,” he wrote.
The ECU Health states the following on its “About Us” webpage:
“From day one, our goal has always been to help the people of eastern North Carolina live their healthiest lives. Their best lives. We are determined to reach the farthest parts of our communities to provide high-quality care. Here, in the neighborhoods we serve, we are committed to addressing social issues that can affect the quality of health and life. Issues like nutrition, and education. ECU Health is the result of hearts and minds brought together with purpose and opportunity. This is more than medicine. This is a calling.”
“Our award-winning medical facilities are as diverse as their locations – from the flagship academic medical center in metro Greenville to community hospitals in charming small towns. But we’re more than a collection of buildings and team members. We’re neighbors, coworkers, relatives and friends. All living and working in this unique region we call home. Together, we work with patients and communities to provide outstanding care for eastern North Carolina.”
