The recent Webinar Wednesday session “Leveraging Managed Services for Clinical Asset Management and Cybersecurity” sponsored by Ordr was eligible for 1 credit from the ACI.
Ordr Director of Healthcare Product Management Ben Stock and Sodexo Senior Director of IT/IS Chris Falkner shared strategies for clinical asset management and security. They shared best practices on how to start a HTM cybersecurity program, and when to complement existing resources with managed services to accelerate the program.
Questions addressed during an informative question-and-answer session included “Our hospital had multiple devices that are connected via hospital access point. If a device is handed over to the wrong hand, how can we mitigate any potential threat?” And “How do you determine the amount and type of resources needed to help with their cybersecurity needs?”. Answers to both of these questions can be found in the on-demand recording of the webinar, 1technation.com/leveraging-managed-services-for-clinical-asset-management-and-cybersecurity/.
Attendees were provided an opportunity to share feedback at the conclusion of the webinar. One question presented to attendees was, “How will this webinar help you do your job better?”
“Inform me on the many ways to improve and update systems,” said Ronald Rhodes, Biomed Tech III.
“This webinar will help me by trying to implement some of the ideas that were presented,” said Christina Taylor, BMET III.
Another question attendees answered was, “How will this webinar help your facility save money?”
“If we could avoid future attacks by making sure our devices are secured we will save the facility money,” said Santiago Guevara, BMET II.
“This webinar will help my facility save money by understanding where there might be some vulnerabilities in the network,” said Christina Taylor, BMET III.
