The Indiana Biomedical Society will host its 26th annual Conference and Exposition on January 28 at the City Centre Sheraton Hotel in Indianapolis. The annual event is just one avenue in which IBS strives “to advance the quality, development and role of Biomedical Technology in the health care institution.”
The one-day conference and expo will feature the keynote address “Medical Device Cybersecurity: An Applied 10 Year Perspective to Achieve Safer Patient Environments” by Dr. Dale Nordenberg.
“The conference has been specifically designed to meet the continuing educational needs and interests of the state’s biomedical community. In this conference you can absorb a practical and affordable learning experience as well as professional camaraderie in the field of healthcare technology,” according to IBS.
Also, voting for new Board of Directors will take place at the conference.
“Our vendors are a big part of the conference so be sure to stop by each booth. Prizes will be drawn for attendees who stop at each booth. Details
will be at registration,” according to IBS.
The IBS Professional of the Year and Lifetime Achievement recipients will be recognized during a luncheon at the conference.
