In a recent email, the Healthcare Technology Management Association of South Carolina (HTMA-SC) introduced its new leadership members. It also announced that it is actively seeking dedicated individuals to join its board.
New Leaders
We believe that Sean and Kaylee’s leadership, along with the addition of new board members, will help us achieve even greater heights as we work together to advance healthcare technology in South Carolina.
- Shawn Lease, President:Shawn is your MXR sales manager. He has a proven track record from the time he has served as the vice president of HTMA. He is excited to lead and push the organization forward.
- Kaylee McCaffrey, Vice President:Many people may know Kaylee as their Avante sales rep. Today she brings her over 13 years of HTM experience and connections to her role as Vice President of the HTMA-SC. We look forward to her fresh perspectives to support Shawn and the organization to achieve the goals it set out to fulfill.
- Aaron Brengelman, Treasurer:Aaron worked as a BMET 3 at Tidelands health and recently started a field service engineer at Carestream. He has served on the board for 3 years and this will be his 2nd year in the treasurer role. We look forward to continuing to serve on the board with him in the coming year.
- Howard Scarver, Secretary:Howard is a supervisor at Prisma Health Richland Hospital. He is the glue that holds this organization together and continues to push the organization to great heights. He has served the board for over 7 years, and we look forward to him continuing his service with the organization this year.
- Scott Keker, Board Member:Scott is the Clinical Engineering Director at Tidelands Health. He brings over 40 years of experience working in the health technology management field. His extensive knowledge working with manufactures, vendors and hospital staff assists the HTMA-SC with continued growth and success.
- Joe Howe, Board Member:Joe is a manager at Lexington Medical Center. He has been a CBET so long his test was on paper and took weeks to get the results. Joe has been a great resource helping bring tasks to completion and helping the events run smoothly. We are grateful to have Joe’s knowledge and support.
- Dan Paladino, Board Member:Dan is an account executive at Carestream. He will be stepping down as the HTMA-SC president. During his time as president, he has grown the organization considerably. We look forward to his continued guidance this year.
- Eric Massey, Board Member:Eric is the Regional Director of Operations of Field Service at Crothall Healthcare. His background includes experience in multi hospital systems, project management, diagnostic imaging and lab services, start-ups, finance, and building quality teams. We look forward to him serving as a member of the HTMA-SC board.
