The recent HTM Mixer in Lexington was proudly supported by the Kentucky Association of Medical Instrumentation (KAMI). The HTM Mixer was a big success providing networking, continuing education and a packed exhibit hall for HTM professionals.
KAMI officers recently shared feedback from their experiences at the HTM Mixer.
KAMI Secretary and J2S District Sales Manager, Eastern Region Kelly Thakkar said, “From the viewpoint of a vendor and a member of the KAMI Board, the HTM Mixer was incredibly organized, well thought out and attended. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun, and professional. The food and drinks were delicious, the venue was very nice, and the kickoff reception was one of the best I’ve been to at a regional show. Very well done!”
“Without the help of MD Publishing, the Board of Directors would not have been able to pull off a conference this year, which is extremely helpful in spreading awareness about the KAMI organization and continuing the momentum and growth for the upcoming year,” Thakkar added.
When asked if the HTM Mixer meet her expectations, Thakkar replied, “Absolutely. We are beyond pleased with the turnout and the excitement the Mixer has brought to the KAMI community.”
“Even though these Mixers do not generate much fundraising for KAMI’s future events, it allows our organization to spread awareness about our mission and hopefully grow our community. The MD (Publishing) team makes it unbelievably easy to plan and execute the event with minimal risk on our part,” she added.
KAMI President Tom Bledsoe agreed.
“Wow! What a spectacular event,” Bledsoe said. “KAMI would like to extend a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to the MD Publishing team for helping us put on a wonderful event. What a way for the sitting BOD to end on such a high note. And a great way to welcome new membership and a new BOD. We are still getting positive feedback from all vendors and attendees.”
