The recent Webinar Wednesday session “Building a Cybersecurity Program Around Clinical Zero Trust: Strategies for Healthcare Resilience” sponsored by Claroty provided an insightful look at trends and challenges HTM professionals need to be aware of in today’s healthcare environment.
As healthcare organizations face growing cyber threats and increasingly complex clinical environments, implementing a Clinical Zero Trust strategy is essential to safeguarding patient safety and critical infrastructure. But achieving this requires more than just a security framework, it demands the right technologies, partnerships and execution.
Subject matter experts from Mount Sinai, Claroty, Cisco, World Wide Technology (WWT) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) came together to deliver a powerful discussion on building a Clinical Zero Trust strategy to protect cyber-physical systems (CPS) without compromising patient care.
The webinar was popular among HTM professionals with 65 of the 112 registered individuals online for the presentation. A recording of the session is available for on-demand viewing at WebinarWednesday.live. The session is eligible for 1 CE from ACI.
Asimily Senior Manager Catherine White won a Swiss Force Meister Multi-Tool during the webinar.
Attendees provided feedback regarding the webinar and TechNation magazine via a post-webinar survey that included the question, “Why do you read TechNation magazine?”
“To keep up to date on the happenings of HTM and to see new tools/test equipment offerings,” said Gerald McNeil, BMET III, with GE Healthcare.
“TechNation keeps me updated with the latest trends in the HTM field. It also helps promote our field and provides valuable information,” said Peter Jeong, a clinical engineering supervisor with Morristown Medical Center-Atlantic Health.
“To stay current on topics with the clinical engineering department,” said Rubin Jean, a technology analyst with AdventHealth.
“To keep up with new tips and tricks,” Augusta Health Maintenance Compliance Coordinator Brandon Hostetter said.
