Webinar Wednesday’s recent Tools of the Trade LIVE Demo of the FlowAnalyser PRO was sponsored by IMT Analytics.
The FlowAnalyser PRO is the company’s flagship benchtop gas flow analyzer, designed for biomedical engineers, independent service providers and medical equipment manufacturers. It is engineered to test all types of mechanical ventilators, anesthesia machines, and a wide range of other medical devices that generate gas flow and pressure.
IMT Analytics Managing Director Daniel Benz did an excellent job showing how the FlowAnalyser PRO combines the full capabilities of the industry-leading FlowAnalyser PF-300 series into one powerhouse device. With the addition of an ultra-low-flow channel, Benz demonstrated how the FlowAnalyser PRO can precisely measure across the entire spectrum, from the smallest flow rates and vacuum pressures to hospital gas line pressures and flows up to 300 L/min. The demo featured the device’s 5-inch high-resolution multi-touch display and its intuitive and modern user interface.
Benz went on to show webinar attendees the device’s advanced features such as profile handling, on-device testing applications, smart automatic trigger detection and data recording. The demo illustrated how the FlowAnalyser PRO can streamline workflows, reduce handling errors and improve measurement accuracy.
Benz also discussed how the FlowAnalyser PRO can be paired with the OR-703 MultiGasAnalyser, a high-precision gas analyzer measuring CO₂, N₂O and all common volatile anesthetic agents, to be transformed into a complete anesthesia machine testing solution.
The FlowAnalyser PRO delivers the highest precision and a seamless user experience.
Benz also field questions from attendees during the webinar and planned to follow up with attendees via email to answer any additional questions.
It was a popular Tools of the Trade Live Demo with almost 100 HTM professionals registered for the session which is eligible for 1 CE credit from the ACI. Approximately 50 tuned in for the live presentation. A recording of the demo is available for on-demand viewing at WebinarWednesday.live.
Sam Ghannam a healthcare equipment manager with Sodexo answered a trivia question to win a Swiss Force Meister Multi-Tool.
In a post-webinar survey, attendees were asked, “What was your single biggest takeaway from today’s product demo?”
“The device and accessories available should suffice any ventilator and anesthesia testing and certification,” said Larry Thompson, a BMET III with UAB.
“The product is user friendly,” shared Sohail Ahmed, a biomedical engineering technologist at Regina General Hospital.
“New ways to use a flow analyzer. Thank you for this webinar,” National Jewish Health Biomedical Supervisor Brian Harris said.
