The Colorado Association of Biomedical Equipment Technicians (CABMET) will host its January meeting Thursday, Jan. 22, in Longmont, featuring dinner, a business update and an educational presentation for healthcare technology management professionals.
The meeting will be held at Acertara Acoustic Laboratories, 1950 Lefthand Creek Lane. Dinner begins at 6:15 p.m., followed by the business meeting at 6:45 p.m. and a presentation at 7 p.m. Door prizes will be provided courtesy of Acertara.
The program, titled “510(k) Clearance and Why It Matters for Equipment Service,” will be presented by Dan Nichols and Jeff Smart of Acertara. The session is intended for HTM professionals, clinical engineers, imaging engineers and leaders responsible for ultrasound equipment performance, safety and lifecycle management.
Attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance to ensure an accurate headcount for dinner.
