Justin Lewis, a clinical engineering supervisor at CHI Immanuel Medical Center, recently announced a new role in HTM.
He announced on LinkedIn that he is now president of the Heartland Biomedical Association.
The association’s LinkedIn page states, “The Heartland Biomedical Association is dedicated to the advancement of the clinical and biomedical engineering profession. We offer our members a variety of educational presentations and seminars as well as many fun activities throughout the year.
Our goals include:
- To form a professional association of individuals interested in the advancement of biomedical technology dedicated to better patient care.
- To encourage the free exchange of information pertaining to the biomedical technology field.
- To increase the recognition of the biomedical field within the medical community.
- To promote education and training of biomedical personnel.”
