
GE Healthcare’s Institute has approximately 2.5 million devices under contract in our HTM group. GE Healthcare’s HTM group manages approximately 45,000 unique makes and models of equipment.
The College of HTM is designed so that HTM professionals who come to it for training are prepared to deliver a great HTM experience for customers.
The College of HTM offers classroom and virtual training, and training in built environments staged as clinical settings—an operating room (OR) suite, a patient room in an intensive care unit (ICU), a nurses’ station, and a biomed shop. Students will be trained on both GE and non-GE equipment typically used in these settings.
The College is currently available to GE employees with plans to expand access, outside of GE, in 2020.
As a 250,000 sq ft facility – the Healthcare Institute is a key site for Service and Applications training development and delivery.
8,000 students are trained at the Healthcare Institute annually representing 125 countries.
There are 600+ pieces of Imaging, ultrasound and monitoring equipment on-site for training; 800 courses offered to students.
There are 60+ pieces of multi-vendor equipment at the Healthcare Institute; 110 Multi-Vendor courses offered.
Training across all imaging modalities, life care solutions products, networking and cybersecurity is offered.
