Amber Patrick Corrao recently shared career news on LinkedIn.
She wrote that earlier this year she was promoted into the role of imaging equipment services manager for Akumin’s Fixed Radiology division, expanding a function that has long existed within its mobile division to now provide dedicated equipment support to the national fixed-site portfolio.
“After several years in radiology operations leadership, I had a direct view into the operational and financial impact of equipment availability. This role has given me the opportunity to address that from a different angle. My work now sits at the intersection of equipment service, facilities, finance, and operations, where equipment performance meets financial strategy. I have the pleasure of supporting our ability to be there for our patients and provider partners when they need us the most. There is no shortage of opportunity in this space,” she wrote. “What I didn’t fully appreciate going in was the breadth of the function. From CapEx projects and equipment life cycle, to efficiency initiatives and financial reconciliation, the role touches so much of the division.”
“I’m fortunate to work alongside knowledgeable colleagues who have been generous with their time as I’ve begun to build the foundation of the function. Grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to the work ahead,” she added. “Thank you to Joseph Wilson and Aaron Pickus for the opportunity and for your continued support.”
