Axiom Imaging Solutions, an independent service organization specializing in Philips and Siemens CT, MRI and PET/CT maintenance, service and sales, has acquired United Medical Maintenance Services, an independent service organization specializing in GE and Siemens CT and MRI maintenance.
The acquisition of UMMS, based in Dallas, Texas, further increases AIS’s share in the medical service industry, allowing AIS to broaden and diversify its capabilities. This acquisition also provides AIS with a research and development department that will allow development of test tools, monitoring equipment and in-house repairs.

The acquisition by Axiom Imaging Solutions of United Medical Maintenance Services will operate under the name of Axiom Imaging Solutions Inc.
“We feel strongly that the joining of forces with UMMS will allow us to realize our strategic goals” explained Melissa Lancon, Service Coordinator at AIS.
