Cullen Kuykendall, a full-time student at the College of Biomedical Equipment Technology (CBET), recently shared on LinkedIn that he will start a new position as Imaging Service Engineer I at CARTI on February 14.
He is described on his LinkedIn profile as follows:
“I’m a technically skilled maintenance professional with over 14 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC and systems diagnostics. My journey began in the U.S. Army as a Stryker systems maintainer, where I gained a strong foundation in troubleshooting complex systems under pressure. Since then, I’ve built a diverse career maintaining and repairing critical infrastructure and equipment in industrial, commercial, and healthcare settings.”
“I bring a solutions-driven mindset, a disciplined work ethic and a deep knowledge base that spans diesel mechanics, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems and preventive maintenance. Whether I’m managing a hospital PM schedule, leading HVAC service teams, or repairing hot-side kitchen and medical equipment, I focus on safety, accountability and long-term reliability,” it continues. “Now working in a healthcare environment, I’m passionate about supporting environments where equipment uptime is essential to patient care. I’m always looking to grow in roles where I can make a measurable impact and continue building cross-functional expertise.”
