Houston, we have lift off!
The upcoming MD Expo Houston (April 11-13) is on track to be the largest ever with more than 500 individuals already registered for the signature healthcare technology management (HTM) conference. More than 350 attendees have registered as of noon on March 7 – more than a month before the conference. Also, the exhibit hall is almost sold out with more than 120 booth personnel registered for the event.
And more people continue to register every day!
“The pre-registration numbers for MD Expo Houston are staggering! We have over 350 currently registered with expectations that we will be well over 500 by the start of the conference,” MD Publishing Vice President Kristin Leavoy said.
Houston is an ideal location with a large number of health care professionals eager to attend a conference where they can obtain continuing education credits and network with peers.
“The local biomed associations, HTMA-TX and HTMA-NTX, supporting the event play a huge part in our success. Our goal is a mutually beneficial relationship that brings awareness to the local associations and provide a conference with top-notch education, exhibits and networking,” Leavoy added.
MD Expo was previously in Houston in 2019 and experienced similar interest with more than 1,000 people in attendance.
MD Publishing President John Krieg was in awe of the turnout in 2019 and is excited about the return to Houston. He can’t wait to reconnect with HTM leaders from Texas and throughout the nation.
Along with a packed exhibit hall and informative top-notch educational sessions, attendees can enjoy a Career Center at this year’s MD Expo in Houston.
The Career Center will feature an hour of networking, professional development and more! Attendees can participate in free professional headshots, mock interviews, resume building and connect with hiring managers in the industry.
And, as always, MD Expo will conclude with a fun party. A disco rodeo-theme is sure to provide an added element of fun to the always popular finale party.
A disco rodeo is described as, “a retro spin on your classic hoedown … ’70s disco meets cowboy rodeo. Disco balls, neon lights, cowboy hats and boots, etc.”
So, pack a cowboy hat, boots and some sequins or glitter for a night to remember.
