The Healthcare Technology Management Association of South Carolina has announced the date for its annual conference.
The annual conference will be held May 1, 2015, at the SCHA Conference Center. The 2014 conference was held at the same location.
“We have set the date. The HTMA-SC Annual Conference will held at the South Carolina Hospital Association Conference Center on Friday, May 1, 2015,” according to an email from the HTMA-SC. “Admission will be free for HTMA-SC members.”

In other news, the HTMA-SC recently elected a new set of officers. The officers elected are: President Pat Lynch, GMI; Vice President Todd Hazzard, McLeod Regional; Secretary Midge Franz, M&R Medical; and Treasurer Mary Coker, Providence Hospital.
Elected to serve on the Board along with the officers are: Bobby Stephenson, Aramark, Conway Hospital; David Cicale, St. Francis, Greenville, S.C.; Dur Thomason, GMI, S.C./Ga.; Jason Botko, A+ Medical; David Orders, Atlantic Pulmonary Services; Larry Sampson, Palmetto Hospital and Justin Miller, Aramark.
The Board decided that it will focus on webinars for the next year and are seeking input from members regarding which topics they would like to learn more about.
