The TechNation Webinar Wednesday series continues to deliver quality education to the HTM community via expert speakers.
The most recent webinar “Mammography & MQSA – An Overview” featured insightful information from John DiPasquale, Technical Trainer for Technical Prospects LLC. Participants in the presentation, which was sponsored by Technical Prospects, were eligible for 0.1 CE credit from the ACI.
The primary purpose of the presentation was to acquaint field engineers with the MQSA law that surrounds the mammography modality that is part of the imaging world. Those attending received an overview and a short history. Attendees were educated about the requirements under MQSA including the equipment, specific personnel responsibilities, some associated key terminology and how the law applies to the current digital equipment that is very common in today’s health care facilities.
An informative Q&A session followed the prepared session in which DiPasquale shared his expert knowledge with attendees.
Hundreds attended the webinar and gave it high ratings with a 4.0 on a 5-point scale. In a post-webinar survey, attendees shared their thoughts.
