The Oregon Biomedical Association sent an email Thursday night reporting sad news.
“We are sad to inform everyone that last week we lost one of our PCC Biomedical students in a motor vehicle accident. James Ritchie would have graduated at the end of this spring term. He was an excellent student and a great innovator. He gave a lot of support to students and the program, as well as other activities including Maker Space, Intel career fairs, OMSI activities etc,” the email reads. “James left behind his wife, two young children, and a baby on the way on May 1st.”
A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help the family with expenses. Donations may be made here.
