Daniel Rivas at Aramark at NorthShore University Health System said TechNation is very popular with the biomeds. They all have a subscription and read each issue of the magazine. When he saw the June cover story on robots he knew he had to send in a photo of the shop’s robot – Johnny 6.0.
“It was just perfect,” Rivas said.
Jonathan Romero, BMET III and creator of Johnny 6.0, was included in the photo. While Romero is a talented biomed capable of many tasks, Johnny 6.0 tends to take more of a laid-back approach.
“He does nothing. He just sits and reads TechNation,” Rivas said about Johnny 6.0.
TechNation Editor John Wallace appreciates the photo and invites other readers to submit some of their own.
“We always appreciate receiving photos of biomeds and HTM professionals reading TechNation. I would love it if every HTM department that reads our magazine would send us a group photo with team members holding up copies of the magazine or wearing a TechNation T-shirts or MD Expo T-shirts,” Wallace said.
