Apparently, cybersecurity really is a ‘bear’ necessity in today’s world!
The latest Webinar Wednesday presentation “Generative AI: The Future of Healthcare Cybersecurity” sponsored by Cynerio had 74 people logged in and one bear without Internet access who wanted to listen in outside the office of presenter Chad Holmes. Rumor has it the bear even earned a certificate for 1 credit from the ACI along with the other attendees.

In his presentation, Holmes and the Cynerio team discussed the explosive growth of Generative AI and how it is leading to numerous innovations. Among the most promising opportunities are those in the health care industry, where limited resources and historic underinvestment are leading to dramatically increased rates of successful cyber-attacks.
Holmes discussed the immediate benefits of Generative AI in health care as well as quickly evolving protections that limit the impact of attacks on patients, facilities and finances. From more accurate data analysis to improving the effectiveness of detecting threats, the Cynerio team demonstrated the values Generative AI provides to forward-thinking health care organizations.
Holmes also shared additional insights during a question-and-answer session. (The bear did not submit a question.) But a recording of the webinar including the Q&A session is available for on-demand viewing at WebinarWednesday.live.
The human attendees also provided feedback via a survey following the webinar. One question attendees answered was, “Was today’s presentation worth your time?”
“Yes. Very interesting to hear how AI is now influencing the medical technology sector,” said Jeremy Ekalo, BMET II, City of Hope.
“Very good introduction to using generative databases to help automate most of the work for providing cybersecurity for our medical organization clients,” said Michael Enquist, BMET II, Crothall HTS.
“Gave some good insight into how AI will be used,” said Paul Collett, Biomed Risk Compliance Officer, Nebraska Methodist Health System.
