Georgia Governor Nathan Deal recently signed a proclamation for Healthcare Technology Management Professional Appreciation Week (May 22-28). This annual celebration is designed to promote the awareness of – and appreciation for – the critical work of biomedical technicians, clinical engineers, and other members of the healthcare technology management (HTM) field.
The proclamation in part reads:
“I, Nathan Deal, Governor of the State of Georgia, do hereby proclaim May 22-28, 2016 as Healthcare Technology Management Professional Appreciation Week in Georgia and urge citizens of the state to acknowledge and give proper recognition to this profession for maintaining a high standard of quality health care for our citizens.”
