Robert “Bob” Stanley Feldman, born on July 15, 1942, of Brockton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 82 years of age.
Bob is known for International X-ray Brokers. The company was established in 1987 as a small business in Needham, Massachusetts. Bob was fortunate enough to work with the founder of the company, Joel Greenberg. In 2007, he purchased International X-ray Brokers (IXB) from the Greenberg family. Over the decades, he further developed the business.
Manny Roman said Bob was someone he would seek out at trade shows and conferences.
“Bob was always one of the people that Ruth and I looked forward to seeing at the shows and conferences. We loved catching up with him and his family. He was a true gentleman, innovator of the industry and a great family man. Our hearts go out to his family and the industry. His family has a great legacy to build on,” Roman said.
He was also a founding member of IAMERS and a long-standing board member.
“While on the board, Bob was a great contributor to IAMERS success,” IAMERS President and Executive Director Diana Upton wrote in an email.
“While on the IAMERS board, Bob was the membership director. He was certainly successful at increasing our membership. No one, as a volunteer, ever worked harder, or put in more hours, for IAMERS than Bob did,” Upton added.
Before IXB, Bob was a baker and a real estate agent.
Still, his mark on the HTM industry is a lasting one.
MD Publishing President and Founder John Krieg is among the many who were impacted by Bob’s thoughtfulness and dedication to service.
“Personally and professionally Bob taught me so much in my career – how to treat people, how to carry yourself in all situations and deal with people in difficult times. His honesty and integrity were second to none,” Krieg said.
“As they say, he is ‘one of the good ones,’ with an enormous heart and kindness that is to be admired,” he shared.
His obituary may be viewed online and a recording of the funeral service is available here.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s name, may be made to Dr. Praful Ravi’s Research Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168 or by phone at 800-525-4669.
