4th annual Mike McCoy Golf Tournament Set for October 6
An email from NBCA’s Aaron Watts states that the 4th annual Mike McCoy Golf Tournament will be held at Tot Hill Farm Golf Club in Asheboro North Carolina on Tuesday, October 6.
“We are planning to have a shotgun start at 9 a.m. with the driving range opening to us at 8 a.m. With the unfortunate cancellation of our 2020 NCBA Symposium due to COVID-19, we are hoping that this great day of fellowship and golf will somehow help lighten the blow. An individual entry fee is $75 with a team of 4 costing $300. As always, this will be a Captain’s Choice Format Tournament with several opportunities to win great prizes,” the email states.
“Let’s try and keep the Mike McCoy way in our minds during this crazy time in which we live. Mike was a man who shared his work and personal life with a lot of people,” it adds. “ As most of his coworkers know, he spent many hours working in the clinical equipment management field. He was truly a gentleman, full of wisdom, love of his family and very proud of the work he accomplished in this health care arena. Many of us knew him personally and can say that we were fortunate to have worked alongside of such a great ambassador for our special career. Mike truly loved helping others succeed and accomplish their individual goals in the biomedical field and there is no doubt that he would strive to do the same during this pandemic. If anyone would like to register as a team/individual or for questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at golf@ncbiomedassoc.com.”
Those interested are encouraged to register early because there are a limited number of teams this year.
