The most recent Webinar Wednesday presentation “Why a Nuclear Medicine Camera Evaluation is Vital to Ensure SPECT Camera Performance and Longevity” sponsored by Universal Medical was eligible for 1 CE credit from the ACI.
The 60-minute webinar featured Chad Watson, evaluation program director, Universal Medical, and Ann Hamilton, radiology director, Texas County Memorial Hospital. The presenters discussed the evaluation experience from the perspective of the company conducting the evaluation and the owner of the SPECT camera.
Their presentation featured insightful information, including:
- Why it is important to have your SPECT camera(s) evaluated periodically;
- Actions you can make after receiving the results of your evaluation to improve performance and useful life of your nuclear medicine camera(s);
- An overview of what must be included in evaluation and how you can use the information; and
- A radiology director’s firsthand experience before, during and after an evaluation was performed on their SPECT camera.
Webinar attendees were impressed by the presentation based on a post-webinar survey.
