reLink Medical is amplifying its resources to help health care facilities across the Ohio region meet the anticipated patient demands related to the COVID-19 virus.
As hospitals prepare to add up to 30% more space for patient beds, reLink has bolstered its staff and resources to ensure the safe removal of unneeded surplus and retired equipment from these facilities. In addition, reLink is helping to ease the burden of risk these hospitals face by properly redeploying, tracking and storing their surplus equipment.
reLink is also supporting hospitals who have an immediate need for supplies and medical equipment such as ventilators, respirators, test equipment, and vital sign monitors, and it is working to secure the proper PPE such as N95 masks, gloves, face shields, and gowns.
“We want hospitals to know they are not alone in this,” says Jeff Dalton, reLink president and CEO. “So we are creating strategic partnerships within our local community to ensure that caregivers have the tools they need to meet patient demand.”
Another way reLink is supporting health care institutions is by helping them sell their out-of-service equipment to generate funds to purchase the supplies and equipment they need to battle COVID-19.
“We want the public and the hospitals to know that we are here and ready to support them and give them a greater sense of comfort during these unknown times ahead of us.” Dalton adds.
All hospital assets will be stored in the company’s secure 75,00 square-foot warehouse located in Twinsburg, Ohio, where they can be easily tracked for redeployment.
reLink Medical leads the industry in security and safety with R2 and RIOS based processes, HIPPA compliance standards, experienced equipment de-install teams, DOT credentials, and certified biomedical engineers on staff.
