Reston Hospital Center is pleased to announce Matthew Frye as the new chief operating officer. Matt comes to Reston from Universal Health Services, Valley Health Systems in Las Vegas, Nevada where he has served as chief operating officer. Matt brings an extraordinary level of healthcare strategy and growth experience from the planning and implementation of a new patient tower and two freestanding emergency departments to the expansion of multiple service lines and the construction of a cath lab. He has steered physician recruitment endeavors that led to significant increases in surgical volume and fostered employee engagement efforts to help significantly reduce staff turnover.

With Reston Hospital’s strategic plans over the next eighteen months: launching our open-heart program, continuing to expand our oncology services, and building another freestanding emergency department in Leesburg, Matt brings expertise, drive and leadership that we will lean on through these important growth initiatives, ” said Nathan Vooys, chief executive officer, Reston Hospital Center.
