The Georgia Biomedical Instrumentation Society (GBIS) recently added the “Introduction to Medical Imaging” session presented by RSTI’s Dale Cover to the educational sessions being offered at its 2024 annual conference.
The session is designed for biomeds, managers and students. It will explore the systems and technology found in most medical imaging departments. Attendees will become familiar with the terminology, major components and the overall functionality of imaging devices and their subsystems.
Cover joined RSTI in 1980. In his 30-plus years with RSTI he has held several positions including lab instructor, technical instructor, senior instructor and training manager. He served as vice president and director of training for four years before retiring as president of RSTI. He retired from his administrative duties, but continues to serve as an academic advisor and senior technical instructor.
