Tech Knowledge Associates (TKA), an Innovation Institute subsidiary that specializes in clinical technology management, has announced that its team will exhibit and present at the MD Expo in Irvine, Calif. on  April 9-11, 2017. MD Expo is a leading healthcare technology management conference that features world-class educational sessions and the latest technology, service and equipment options.
George Hampton, president of TKA, says the presentation will identify the process and procedures required to develop an Alternate Equipment Maintenance (AEM) Program, a review of the AEM scoring process and scoring categories, along with supportive documentation to support the program. The TKA team will also address the policies and procedures associated with the AEM program, how the program is implemented and the regulatory agencies’ compliance procedures.
TKA has developed its own risk assessment process and an AEM program that the clinical technology management company launched in March 2017. It addresses directives that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released regarding the maintenance of medical equipment.
MultiMedical Systems, a sister company and Innovation Institute subsidiary in the medical technology management space, will also be exhibiting at MD Expo.
