TrueSpot Health, a provider of real-time location systems and location-intelligent asset management for healthcare, and TruAsset, a leading computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for HTM and maintenance teams, have announced a new system integration designed to streamline equipment tracking, maintenance workflows and clinical response times across hospital environments.
The joint integration enables TruAsset users to view real-time and historical equipment location data from the TrueSpot AQFind RTLS platform directly within the TruAsset CMMS interface. Through a secure location API, staff can instantly see the precise current location of tagged medical equipment, as well as review recent location history. This reduces time spent searching for assets, improves workflow efficiency, supports utilization analysis and helps ensure timely patient care.
In addition, TrueSpot Health has implemented an inventory sync framework that imports asset records from TruAsset into the TrueSpot platform. This ensures accuracy across each system and strengthens asset life cycle management from deployment to retirement.
“This integration bridges the gap between digital asset records and real-world equipment location,” said Mike Hanna, CEO of TrueSpot. “Hospitals now gain better data integrity through synchronized systems, streamlined workflow and improved operational efficiency.”
“TruAsset is committed to helping HTM and maintenance teams operate with accuracy and confidence,” said Jason Byers, CEO of TruAsset. “This integration with TrueSpot delivers real-time visibility that enhances productivity and supports better decision-making across the facility.”
The combined solution gives healthcare organizations unified access to maintenance history, asset data and live location insights, supporting improved compliance, reduced delays and stronger patient care readiness.
“As CIO of Willis-Knighton Health, I value integrations that deliver real operational impact. The seamless integration between TrueSpot’s RTLS platform and our TruAsset CMMS is a strong example of how connected systems can drive meaningful results using highly secure radio frequency communication. The time we save by being fully deployed throughout the enterprise using this system is enormous,” said Mark J. Galea, senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) at Willis-Knighton Health System in Shreveport, Louisiana.
“By making real-time asset location data from TrueSpot directly accessible within TruAsset – and synchronizing equipment inventory between the two systems- we’ve improved workflows, reduced search times and equipment downtime, and enabled our teams to stay focused on patient care rather than tracking down assets,” Galea added. “This partnership between TrueSpot and TruAsset is delivering a truly differentiated solution for hospital asset management.”
