VitalPath Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

VitalPath, a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (“CDMO”) specializing in complex catheters and precision laser components, has the appointment of Bill Ellerkamp as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Ellerkamp is an accomplished medical device industry executive, strategic advisor and board member with over 40 years of experience in the medical technology CDMO space. Most recently, he served as President and CEO at Precision Coating, a leading provider of proprietary coatings and surface technologies for the medical technology industry. During his tenure, he led multiple strategic acquisitions, expanded global operations—including an expansion into Costa Rica—and drove significant investments in materials development, automation, culture, management infrastructure and information systems. His leadership culminated in the successful sale of Precision Coating to Integer Holdings Corporation in early 2025.

Mr. Ellerkamp brings extensive experience in complex catheter solutions and advanced medical technologies, having served as an executive leader and board member at various CDMOs. He has also been a trusted Industry Executive Partner at Inverness Graham Investments for more than 15 years. His prior successful partnerships with Inverness Graham Investments include leadership roles at ExtruMed, a tight-tolerance medical extrusions business, and AdvancedCath, a complex catheter delivery systems manufacturer.
