The 90-minute webinar will feature Jim Carr of Advanced Ultrasound Electronics.
Jim has over 30 years of experience in diagnostic imaging in the disciplines of field service, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, product development and technical support, with companies including Technicare, Johnson and Johnson Ultrasound, and Acuson. He is technically trained and experienced in servicing multiple imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, endoscopy, mammography and ultrasound. Most recently, he provided leadership for the technical operations and quality systems at multivendor service organizations; as the executive director of service programs for Unisyn Medical Technologies and as Vice President of Operations and Quality at Sonora Medical Systems.
His presentation will provide an overview of the 2014 ACR accreditation programs for Ultrasound and Breast Ultrasound. He will discuss the requirements and recommendations from the ACR for quality control testing and preventive maintenance, as well as the procedures, tools and testing techniques needed to meet the ACR program requirements and recommendations.
