Attendees were asked “What does Webinar Wednesday provide the industry?”
“Great virtual training platform,” said Jayson Gonzalo, a systems analyst with Adventist Health.
“We can never stop learning; we can never stop growing. Webinar Wednesday provides me CEUs for my CBET, but more importantly, it keeps me honed in. Some events I am learning about a new product. Some events I am reinforcing what I thought I knew and re-envisioning that, refining it. And some events, I learn things I never knew,” said Paul Neher, supervisor of biomedical equipment services, Parkview Regional Medical Center.
“Webinar Wednesday gives the industry a way to share real-world knowledge and experiences. It helps students and professionals see how things are done on the job. People get to learn about new tools, common challenges, and how different things work. It also helps connect learning with real careers, which is useful for students and people already working there,” said Savannah Bashura, student, St. Clair College.
“Ways to get consistent continuing education,” said John Rieman, Electronics Spec II, Colorado State University.
“A chance to catch up on the latest trends, and also provide refreshers or introduction to new concepts,” said Marco Guerra, biomedical equipment analyst, UC San Diego Health
