The company was originally founded in Augusta, Georgia, and is comprised of a staff with extensive experience working with GE AMX portable X-ray machines. The engineers and technicians excel in rebuilding the AMX 4 Plus. The company’s 26,000-square-foot facility houses state-of-the-art test equipment in individual assembly stations where the various components and parts are built and prepared for installation and sale. Parts are available for AMX4+ units and Optima units.

Q: HOW DOES YOUR COMPANY STAND OUT IN THE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FIELD?
A: AMX has a 20-plus year history in the industry for quality work and customer service. The employees who helped build that reputation are still with the organization and continue to help AMX Solutions thrive. Additionally, all of our rebuilds, painting and service are done 100% in house by our technicians.
Q: DO YOU HAVE ANY GOALS YOU WOULD LIKE TO ACHIEVE IN THE NEAR FUTURE?
A: Our current mission is to get the name of AMX Solutions back in front of everyone in the industry. We want to let the industry know that we are still here and want to continue to provide the same service that people have come to expect from our brand. We also want to stress that the same team who provided quality service in the past is still with the organization. We hope that this can rekindle old partnerships as well as create new ones within the industry.
Q: IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE OUR READERS TO KNOW?
A: AMX Solutions was known for being a family organization. We want readers to understand that while AMX Solutions may have new leadership, the organization still has a heavy family focus. The new AMX is owned and operated by myself and my two sons, Campbell and Leland.
