TechNation’s recent Webinar Wednesday session “Clinical Engineering: Navigating Industry Trends” was sponsored by TRIMEDX and eligible for 1 credit from the ACI.
Clinical engineering has evolved over the past 10 years. In this webinar, TRIMEDX Senior Talent Acquisition Partner Sarina Malik and TRIMEDX Director of Workforce Strategies Courtney Kinkade shared some industry trends, including:
- how companies are utilizing non-traditional talent when hiring demands outpace the availability of CE experienced talent;
- the increasing need for CR talent to be savvy in cybersecurity/IT and how TRIMEDX is meeting that demand; and
- how candidates can best position themselves for optimum success in their job search.
The presenters addressed these questions and fielded answered questions from attendees during the live webinar.
After the webinar, attendees were asked “How much new information did you receive from today’s webinar?”
“I appreciated hearing from TRIMEDX HR professionals about their approach to creatively building up a talent pipeline into the HTM career field. Leveraging ‘non-traditional’ talent rather than rely on traditional ‘biomed’ backgrounds was new and refreshing,” said Tom Caballero, clinical technology executive director with Kaiser Permanente.
“I really enjoyed the tactics for conversational approaches; very helpful,” said Jeremy Ekalo, a BMET II with Renovo Solutions.
“Great job of explaining the issues with getting new BMETs, how to expand your search for techs that can become a BMET, and then what hiring professionals are looking for on your resume. Great job,” Collin College Professor David Braeutigam said.
Webinar Wednesday once again gave away a pair of Apple Airpods as it continues to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Logan Lozano, a senior technician with CommonSpirit Health in Texas won the Airpods.
